Come and join the friendship club which meets up every First Monday of the Month at Keelby Methodist Church from 2.00 to 4.00pm.

This month we will meet on Monday 5th June 2017, with Afternoon Tea at Lilly’s Tea Rooms

Come and enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea with friends. If you would like to join us please contact Marjorie Ainley 01469 560463 by Friday 26th May

Monday 3rd July 2017 – Kathleen Barnett – Back to the blue for two captive dolphins

We “Open for Coffee” and cake every Wednesday 10am to 12 noon. Everyone is welcome to join us and also to support different charities.  Last week we raised £74.65 for Christian Aid and we have also raised £242 for the N.E. Lincs Down’s Syndrome Family Support Group, over the month of April. App each month we pick a different cause, many of them coming as suggestions from our customers. But it isn’t all about raising money, it’s about the space to chat with old friends and make new ones.

Help Needed – if you have some spare time on Wednesdays, we would really appreciate a little more help with this event.  We have a loyal team of helpers and with one or two more, it would make the job even easier for us all. If you’d like to help please drop in any Wednesday and see Chris or Richard.

Staycation Weekend

We are all systems go for the Staycation Weekend 16th, 17th & 18th June, 2017.

At this stage it is important to judge how many people will be interested in joining us for some or all of the weekend.  So please book ASAP. We are also inviting the youth from Scartho Methodists and their parents to join us, as our two youth groups meet together on a regular basis.  BUT this weekend isn’t only for youth, it was set up as a means of having a very cheap church holiday together and the one we had in 2015 was a great success and such fun.

To enquire about anything or book, please contact me on or 01472 885911

The names in blue on the plan are those getting each activity/event ready, if you can help anywhere please talk to those people. If there is an event “blank” that you could organise please get in touch. Before the weekend, we will need help to clear the barn and clean the “mess hut” and loo! Oh joy.

Thy Kingdom Come – 3rd & 4th June

Scartho Methodist will be having 24 hours of prayer when the church will be open for prayer with prayer stations and prayer space around the building. This is our response to the Archbishop of Canterbury’s ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ – a call for Christians to pray together.

We’d like to invite our friends from across the circuit to join us in this response.  There are hourly slots to sign up for – but you can also come and go as you please through the 24 hours. It is our aim to include everyone from the youngest to the oldest. Tea & coffee etc. will be available throughout.

If you would like to be involved, you can sign up on the Doodle Poll.  If you’ve never done one before just click on this link, add your name and tick the time/s that you want to do

Or you can just email me to sign up ( or call on 01472 276972. Thanks Gill Thomas
